DRO oscillator question

Hi William,
Im also playing with DRO's , And no, you need a cavity to oscillate, the
Dro is cut for a specific frequency
and stablilzes the oscillation by generating a magnetic field that cuts
across the resonant line.
(The line is usually a 1/4w resonant section connected to the gate of
the Fet in a series DRO).
The cavity itself is designed to be resonant at the desired frequency
Btw, im working on adapting a direct tv DC for use on the 10mhz P3e
downlink, It looks promising but
is definately not a beginner 'kit' type project.
