Hi Ken,

Some years ago I was faced with this problem.  I collected some
information about repairing the KR-500 elevator.  This is now on my
website.  The URL is www.users.zetnet.co,uk/clivew/     Go to the

Unfortunately I was unable to open up the elevator, couldn't even shift
the screws on the terminal block!
