My own microwave oven used to block the reception of
AO40, but I just did not use it if I was working the
sat. My XWL is very cooperative regarding this. But
you cannot avoid your neighbor's oven.
In any case, for an HEO it is not a big deal because
the interference lasts for a few minutes. For a LEO,
it might ruin a complete pass.
