2,4 gHz LAN flat panel antenna

Hi all!
Just wondering if anybody has implimented into their S-band
downlink setup an antenna system using the pizza box size
flat panel for S-band downlink? Most of the panels I've
seen exibit a 17 to 19dBi gain with a 30dB F/B ratio. With
a LEO satellite with a 2.4 gHz downlink, like AO-51, I
wonder how that would work? Has anybody tried?
