Re: ARR in-shack preamps



John,

LOW NOISE GasFet type of preamps mast mounted are best.
A preamp in the shack just amplifies everything.
On the mast, only the signal is amplified.

In shack is ok for general CW/SSB use, but with really weak signals got to 
go mast mount.
