RE: SkyCross 2.4 ghz antenna?

A patch of some sort was my first thought, but the height is way too tall, 
and the base looks like plastic or PC board material of some kind.  All the 
patch antennas I've seen have metal bases and a distance between the top and 
bottom of a fraction of an inch.  If I read the dimensions right, the 
antenna is 7.6mm tall.

Tnx, Greg, I'm guessing that it is a modified patch...I've experimented with 
dozens of them here over the years, and I match them by bending the corners, 
either away or towards the base plate.
With the construction illustrated it would be pretty easy to do 

Again just a guess...

Hope the German bird comes along soon so I can get back to experimenting.

This satellite withdrawal is horrible!!!
