I'll put in a plug here for SatPC32... I found it quite easy to set up, it
works beautifully with my home-built CAT interface and IC-910H, and my
FOD-Track board and Yaesu G5400 rotor. It does everything I need it to do
(track and tune), and does it smoothly, whether from my desktop PC or an old
Sony laptop. Interfaces with just about every tracking system out there, as
well.
The author, Erich Eichmann, DK1TB, is a member of this forum, and I am sure
he would be more than happy to address any concerns you might have. The
price is also right: free, barely limited demo version available, and only
$40 to register for AMSAT members.
