Here's an un-official list I have of L band TX capable rigs...
Icom 910, 970, 901, 900, 100H, T81E, X2H, X2E, 12AT, 12E, 12GAT, 1271, 1275.
Kenwood TH55E, TH59, TH89, 521A, 531E, 541, 833S, 842, 941, 942, TR50,
TS2000X.
Yaesu FT-104, 911, 2303R, 912R, 213R, 2312R, 6200, 7800, 736.
I put this list together years ago. I just spot verified it on rigpix.com.
Yes, the old Yaesu 7800 did 23cm! About the 5k steps, who knows. I would ask
the seller before bidding....
