Re: 847 vs 910



I'm an IC-706MKIIG/910H owner/operator.  I prefer to have the satellite & HF
rigs separate not only for operating flexability, but if one goes 'south'
and has to be sent in for repair, you're not totally off the air.  The
downside is the additional cable runs for two different rigs.  As for
satellite work, the 847 is fine rig, but is a compromise of function; the
910H specifically designed  for VHF/UHF satellite & terrestrial work.
