R: TS 790 Sub display



Hi Joe, KK0SD

Filaments bulbs are made of  tungsten wich under high temperature
evaporates and very often the deposition of it over the inside surface
of the glass make the bulb 'dimmer and dimmer' or similar to a mirror
that reflect back the filament light.
