I use a 910H thru 1/4" heliax on the uplink to a 10x10 RHCP yagi, downlink is a 3 ft solid dish 6 feet across the boom, helix feed with a DEM preamp mounted on the back, 3 feet of RG8 to a TSI 3733 d/c with a 145mhz output, 50 feet of rg-6 to a radio shack 75 ohm variable attenuator, then a MFJ power inserter, then to a FT-100 for receive on 2m (tuned by hand). I need to swap the radios on this arrangement so the 910 will track the DL with AFC, but that makes working the other sats a bit tough swapping cables and such, and I'm spoiled with tracking tuning on FO-29 and AO-7.
I'm _really_ looking forward to SSETI mode U/S mobile/portable....

Subject: [amsat-bb] AO-51 Mode V/S
Hello all,
I have worked mode L/S on AO-51 successfully using my AO-40 setup. Now when
I considered to work also mode V/S I soon had the enlightenment that this
would destroy my downconverter, when transmitting on 2 m. I wonder how some
people manage V/S mode. Do they have an downconverter with a different IF
than 2 m?
