When you wrote something you don't have an immidiate reaction as in a conversation. Amateur radio is often a
way of expression who will benefit those who have retationnal and communications problems.

The fact of speaking behind a mike or a telephone make's people feel about 1 inch taller (some even more:))If
we extend this a bit those in front of a PC screen can also feel taller.

I often received comments and when i asked privatly for precisions the other party argumenting change
drasticly because they don't have an audience and when i asked some to explain their points privatly they
never came back as the ones who throw stones at windows and they ran away after.

As John KD6OZH wrote

" I observed the same thing when managing projects split between engineers on
different continents. We had to have face-to-face meetings every few months or
things would spin out of control. The conversations on the satellite are
 much more polite."

As any BB open to any one we are facing any kind of post but as Tim Holmes wrote " To be honest the content
and conduct of this list has made me seriously consider wether or not I really want to join amsat" Thats
exactly what i think when i ask non members to only have reading priviledge on AMSAT-BB. No posting
priviledges at all. Tim is also right when he wrote "I would be pretty well convinced that all the members
of amsat do is grumble..) and i added up to a point to let any one even non-member grumble on their own BB.

As any groups devoted to a cause they should have a structure. Lets called the one devoted to amateur
satellite construction AMSAT-NA. The ultimate goals is fine and does not open any gap to commenting, but the
ways to achieved the goals represent as many differents options than the number of his members. The structure
establish a group to control the means towards the final goals.

Is this structure forbidded us to ask questions or show up our opinions? I think not, but to remain focused
on the goals this BB on principles should restric posting to members only.

Commenting on a decisionnal structure does not mean we criticized the individuals behind...but some are
taking on their shoulders unneccessary burden for whatever reasons. Just to remind them amateur radio is a
hobby in the first place. An instrument to enjoy and relax doing all kind of things about radio. Some are
building things, some a exchanging grids, some a hunting sats with walkies-talkies. and so on.

Its about time to relax a bit and enjoy more our hobby. For those who relax in commenting on issues on this
BB let me tell you they also enjoy a lot....
