Hi Tim,
For some reason, most likely because they can't see or hear the person they are
talking to, conversations on the Internet become very heated. I observed the
same thing when managing projects split between engineers on different
continents. We had to have face-to-face meetings every few months or things
would spin out of control. The conversations on the satellite are much more
polite.
