Re: Re: survey question



There was a time when I thought a GEO bird was the way to go.  But after 
automating (and de-automating) a station my opinion has changed.  What would 
be the real difference between a GEO bird and Internet Phone?  Pushing 
buttons and turning knobs is what makes this fun!  On HF you battle changing 
band conditions, on satellite you have antenna pointing and Doppler to deal 
with.  What would be the challenge on a GEO?
