The IARU website www.iaru.org lists statistics of hams by:
* Region
* Country
* Club stations
* Individual stations
* Total stations
* Total operators
* Licensed members
* Society members
* Year data was recorded
Depending on the country, some of the information was updated several years
ago, but still provides useful statistics.

Does anyone know where I can find how many hams there are world-wide or
by country? I was doing a AMSAT presentation today to a group of
non-hams, and was asked during my intro about "What amateur radio is."
