Hummh... an hour earlier, at 1345z off the East Coast of the 
USA I heard nothing on 435.300+/- 10 KHz.   I was giving a 
high-vis demo to some  VIP's,..  But we never heard a peep.

Do I have a bad piece of coax?  Or an air gap between my ears?
