Re: Re: flash memory on orbit



I know that the X-ray machines used for baggage inspection would cause errors in
UV EPROMs without adhesive-backed metal labels over the window. They probably
damage flash memory unless there happens to be metal between the X-ray source
and the memory. Tell them that cameras use film and they won't X-ray them.
