Re: Sputnik I launched Oct. 4 1957

Hi All I love this new math. I think it was 47 years ago, I was in High
School and I listened to it on a now ancient HRO 50T As I am 61 I couldn't
be in High School if Sputnik was launched 52 years ago. It was a big thing
then and it brought a new meaning to the "we will bury you" statements from
Krucheff a few years later. The joke then was the Atlas Missile is like
Civil Service, " It won't work and you can't fire it"
I guess it was a long two years later that we finally got one of our own up.
