Bob, Emily, Mark and Mike....and the BB.
The 1710 pass today was one of the strongest I've ever hear reaching 30 db over
nine about three quarters the way through the pass. Unfortunately, I missed
the first of the pass due to another earthquake that hit right at AOS!!!!
It must have been about a four and hit at 17:11:15 UTC. When my heart stops
pounding, I check the USGS for a figure.
Probably more importantly, I heard absolutely no radar signals on the
downlink. This time I simply loaded digipan and listened only. There were two
signals there but the recovered audio is very weak, so much so all I could do was
see the "railroad tracks" and center the arrow on them using the the mouse. One
signal was a W2 but in my haste to leave the second floor I long ago forgot who!
There's another little after shock 11:01:40 AM local Pacific Time! Check
with all of you a bit later. Cliff K7RR
