Don't e-mail your credit card number.  Consider e-mail the same as a
postcard.  Anyone that handles the mail to get it to the destination could
read it.  While it is probably unlikely that you will have a problem, I
wouldn't take the chance.  Phone or fax is a much better choice.  AMSAT-NA
also accepts PayPal.

I'm sure that if you e-mail martha@amsat.org  with your name, address, 
callsign and credit card number she will sort out membership for you. 
Alternatively a telephone call to +1 301 589-6062 will achieve the same. 
Please remember time differences if you're not in the US.
