Lacy,

It's difficult to keep up with doppler when trying to work PSK31 via LEO
Sats like FO-29. The problem is that the mode will not decode if off
frequency by more than a few hertz. Decoding the signal from the satellite
requires a pretty fast AFC -- especially when the bird is going overhead.

Moe Wheatley's WinPSK can track signals up to 20hz/sec. I've used it on DX
birds like AO-10 and AO-40 in the past, but the doppler from FO-29 is a bit
much.

Hellschreiber is a better choice for satellite digi-mode work ( Feld Hell
mode). It decodes well with FO-29 and doesn't require the precise tuning
that PSK31 does.
