I think that if Dr. Shuch brings his guitar to all board meetings and
concludes with an original song, AMSAT can make a CD titled "Sing Along
AMSAT BOD,  Unplugged Version" and make millions!
Heck, I never give up an opportunity to hear a new song from him!

	Thanks, Martha.  I'm honored by the support of my fellow Amsat members,
and looking forward to the opportunity to serve.
	Unfortunately, it looks as though I will be missing much of my first
Board meeting, as I have a pre-existing travel obligation. I will be in
Vancouver for the International Astronautical Congress, from Saturday 2
October through late night Thursday the 7th.  My original plans were to
come to Arlington on Saturday; I'll do my best to juggle them to get in
some time on Friday.  Will advise as soon as I work out the details.
Please pass on to my fellow Board members my sincere apology for the
late arrival.
