Re: Software

Tim-

NOVA will do what you want- you just have to tell the software where YOUR
QTH is.

Try the following- [this is based on NOVA v. 2.1]

Open NOVA
Click on Setup/Observers
Select a location near your QTH
Click on Add to Observer list
Click Okay

Go to Views/Configure Current View/Observers
Click on the location you added to the Observers list
While holding the mouse key down move the location to the right into the
unmarked field under Canton and release
Highlight Canton, NY by clicking on it
Click on Delete

This should leave just your location as the Observer.

Now when you go through the Utilities/listing...... sequence you will be
able to print out the info you want.

[If your not sure of that last sequence let me know- off the bb.]

Make sure that you set NOVA for your correct local time [Setup/Time] if you
prefer your pass times based on local time versus UTC and also that it has
up to date Keps.

Be aware you can put in your specific lat/lon data to define your QTH
exactly [just a bit more involved] but the above should give you reasonably
accurate pass times depending on where you live versus the closest listed
location.

NOVA is a very powerful program with many features but it does take some
time to master.

Good lick.
