New Washington DC tourist page online

A new and highly revised tourist information page is now on Amsat's Symposium
web site, at http://www.amsat.org/amsat-new/symposium/otheractivities.php

This is mainly intended for spouses and family members who may be looking for
something to do while you are attending the symposium, but feel free to
explore some of these places yourself before or after (but not DURING) the
symposium. It is meant to be complimentary to the "Nerds Tour of Washington"
page that has been up for several months (you can think of it as the
"Anti-Nerds Tour of Washington" page).

Washington DC has more cultural attractions than you can visit in a lifetime.
Aside from the well known monuments, museums and government buildings listed
in every tourist guidebook, there are some lesser known attractions often
visited only by DC residents. I hope this guide, based on 15 years living in
the Washington area, will be useful.
