RE: ISS APRS Packet



Hi,

  If Im correct, the radio on the ISS is a Kenw. TM-D700, and if Im correct
again, this radio can be controlled remotely via DTMF commands.  So how
difficult (or convenient) could be to control the radio from the ground for
this purpose?  You leave the TM-D700 on the 70CM analog channel, just change
the 2M channel from voice to packet!  Could be that possible?

Sorry to see it is back in packet...hope will came back analog just left a
message on iss PMS on purpose.

I suggest one week packet one week repeater. But it will involve much work
from crew.

We will have to shared and is it possible to have the old ericsson HT back
on packet?
