Thanks, Bruce, for the info on the ISS responder. And i muuch don't care
if i don't get satellite credit for talking to a astronaut/cosmonaut. That
would be so special i'll happily take that over making a hundred satellite
QSOs!
It's nice that we have some kind of space station transponder up again.
I worked KD6FYK via the MIR SAFEX repeater (uplink/downlink both on 70cm).
It was a bit of a challenge but lots of fun and didn't require a dual-
bander to work it. Alas, it was only up on rare occasions, probaably
because the residents had too much else to do.
I haven't heard the ISS FM transponder yet, and am looking forward to that.
