RE: ISS satellite QSO?

It definitely counts as an Amateur contact. I'm not sure if AMSAT/ARRL
counts it towards satellite awards if that is what you are asking, but I
certainly hope they would. I never really thought about it until now.

Subject: [amsat-bb] ISS satellite QSO?

Hi all,

Though I'm not too active on the birds I was wondering if a
QSO through the now operating ISS crossband setup would
count as a satellite QSO? If not, why?
