Re: Re: W0IT SK

When I heard of Stan's passing while listening to a QSO between W0SAT and
W0ZZQ on AO-7 yesterday, I looked on the wall and saw his QSL for my first Mode L
contact with him on AO-10 in 1986. I also remembered the many QSOs over the
years on all of the "birds" and on the 75 meter AMSAT Net. Stan was a regular
check-in and we always looked forward to his "fishing report" from South
Dakota on a cold winter night.

I'lll always remember my only "eyeball QSO" with him during a vist to his
store while enroute to the Central States VHF Conference in Winipeg, Manitoba.
This was just before his 90th birthday. He will be missed by all. Rest in
Peace.
