Excellent!!! Thanks for sharing. Just did it now. Works well. I noticed with 
the 2.4 DL 5 Khz steps was a little rough and distorted. I took the FT-897 out 
of the truck and have been downconverting into that for 2.4. A friend said he 
had no problen with hearing the bird with the 5 khz steps on his 2000. Mine 
is not clear at all in between 5 khz steps. Are others finding the same with 
that at 5 Khz steps of tuning on 2.4 DL? Thanks again Freeman.
