Re: FO-29 transatlantic pass from mobile



Very nice pass!
I have worked Diane VA3DB with a very nice report. My mobile setup is:

Uplink: Yaesu FT-290R + 35W PA + 1/4 VHF mobile antenna on the roof of the
car.

Downlink: Kenwood TH-F7E handheld + Comet SMA24 rubber whip attached + a
pair of earbuds

I was stopped on the side of the road with the HT in my left hand out of the
window.

Sometimes I remember that wonderful morning Pete. I like very much trying
the satellites with the minimal setup.
Hope to meet you soon via FO-29 (or AO-40 maybe... crossed fingers).
