[amsat-bb] Loop yagis for L band?

Is this a smart way to go?  I'm building a 1296 loop yagi now, and
considered making a pair of 1270's for sat use.

Is it worth doing?
Will other designs serve me better?
Are loop yagis a bear to circularly polarize?
