First, if you haven't, take a look at
http://www.amsat.org/amsat-new/echo/9600tnc.php which has a good how to.
Below is a copy of my initiation file. Change the ports, speed, and QTH
info as needed. This should put the unit into KISS mode, but as discussed
in the above URL, it will not take the unit out of KISS mode.
