[amsat-bb] AO-40 Hindsight is 20/20

Gang,

Now I dont mean so start some sort of war or point fingers at anyone.....
But I was thinking of the things they are incorperating into Eagle to
protect it from the same sort of thing that happenend to AO-40.  I was
pondering the engine event and was just wondering if anyone knows if the
wire bundle runs were protected in any manner??  A simple folded metal
shield that screws down over the bundles might have protected them from the
engine event especially if they were unguarded.

Hopefully we are planning to impliment something like this on all future
birds with propulsion systems, and any others for that matter.
