Freeman, you remember correctly. There are two text files you can create with TNC
commands, one command per line of text. Create them with a text editoe such as
Notepad, etc. Do not use a word processor.
One is MSPE TNC Startup.TXT for sending commands to the TNC just after WiSP has sent
its normal commands when MSPE starts. The other is MSPE TNC Exit.TXT which will send
commands to the TNC when MSPE is closing. The latter can be used to reset your TNC
to some preferred mode when it is not being used for satellite work. Put the files
in each satellite directory. I don't believe a file will work in the WISP directory.
However, you might try and see.

Subject: [amsat-bb] Wisp tnc configuration
I seem to remember someone on the list mentioning that Wisp could be
configured to read a file containing TNC commands and write them out to
the TNC when it is initialized.
Is this true? If so, how is this done (what file name, etc.).
If it's not true, I'll then blame it on too much solder fumes.
