Tlm ECHO and PK232. Need help

Hello,
I'm trying to receive and decode AO-51 telemetry without success.
I use a PK232MBX plus an external G3RUH 9600 bds modem, connected
to my PC via COM1.
At start up, using Hyper-terminal I send to the PK232 the following commands:

* (reset the PK232 who correctly responds with
his rst message)
MYCALL I4XQG
ALTM 1 (switch the PK232 digital imput to an external
modem)
HB 9600
MON 6
PASSA ON
KISS ON

At this point if I start a generic packet program (properly WinPack) I'm able
to see
the packet frames trasmitted by Echo correctly printed on the screen. The
following
is a sample:

PLCTL PL 1 in use
PLCTL-8*>PLCTL-8 <UI>:
PLCTL valid PL 1 received
PACB-11*>PBLIST <UI>:
PB: Empty.
PACB-1*>TIME-1 <UI>:

I P:0x13A8 o:0 l:27553 f:27564, d:0 st:6 e:01
PLCTL-8*>PLCTL-8 <UI>:
PLCTL PL 1 in use

By this I can suppose my set-up is correctly wired and running.
Instead if I start TLMECHO.EXE (version 1.0.4) the window tlmEcho correctly
opens
but no one character appear. The CPBINI.TXT file contains the followings:

port 1
speed 9600
init y
kissoff y
tnc = tapr
Callsign I4XQG
GridLoc jn54kp
(comments removed)

Someone can help ? Thanks in adwance, I4XQG,
Guido
