That's the problem. You must account for Doppler and
it starts out at 435.310 and ends at 435.290 and the rate
of change is fastest in the middle. For an overhead pass
you will get about 4 minutes 10 KHz high, about 3 minutes
5 Khz high about 2 minutes on freq and then 3 and 4
minutes low respectively.
So listening on 435.300 is the
least amount of time available, though if you cannot see
down to the horizon, and will only be hearing signals for
the middle 3 minutes anyway, its the best you can do.
