Re: ao51 what a disappointment????



Why should not being able to get on some FM bird put you out of the amsat
"business"???
If I were you, I would find everyone on this list with a ts2k and pressure
kenwood to re-write thier software.
I Just made my first contact on fo-29, I could really care less what is
going on with ao-51 becuase I know its going to be everyone playing with a
new "toy" for a while.  I see no reason go get worked up about the design of
the satellite.  I would get worked up if I paid that much for a "satellite"
rig that doesnt work FM tone satellites.  Amsat isnt making the satellites
with tone becuase they want it to be harder to work, They use PL to make the
sat last longer and stand up to interference etc...
