Ron et all,

Probably the simplest approach for an L or S band antenna is a nice simple
Helix... Take a look in this month's issue (July/August '04) of the AMSAT
Journal... I did a quick article about one you could build in a couple
hours. The dimension calculator is found at: vhf.worldsbest.com.au/Helix.htm
