[amsat-bb] TS-790A and CTCSS

Could I get someone to confirm that the TS-790A has CTCSS encoding?  If
I have read correctly, the TSU-5 tone unit is only necessary for tone
decoding - not encoding.  Is this correct?

Has anyone used a TS-790A to transmit to and successfully conduct a QSO
through AO-51, SO-50, or AO-27?

I'm about to purchase a TS-790A and want to make sure this rig will work
with these satellites.
