Re: ao51 what a disappointment????



Perry,

You and many TS2000 users are justifiably frustrated, but that is not the
satellite builder's fault...it is Kenwood's and they ought to get on the
stick with a fix or upgrade else the market will go over to Icom and Yaesu.
 My FT-847 operates in sat-mode with tone just fine (so does my FT-817,
BTW).  The tone access helps solve some issues of past satellite problems
of non-ham interference and battery life.

I know that doesn't make you any happier, but I would vent on Kenwood to
get you a solution.
