Perhaps the term "net" takes people to a strange place.
This sounds more like a "Special Event", since the concept is
to dedicate a pass to a particular type of activity.
While I see that there are challenges with doing this, I think
the idea has merit and is worth trying on a limited basis.
I like the "Kids Pass" idea and the "Demonstration Pass" for
during a major convention, for example.
There are a number of problems in making this work. One of which
is deciding what activities are worthy of a special event pass.
There is already the perception that certain "big guns" dominate
the FM birds. We wouldn't want the Special Event passes to
be perceived as just a different way to dominate the bird
(which is what it is, just on a single-pass basis).
Of course, I'd like one of the Special Event passes to be
for those with Zero callsigns with suffixes that start
with N :-)
