[amsat-bb] reception report oscar echo

N2OEQ long island new york

Equipment; new yaesu ft-8800r, diamond 500 vertical @ 15 feet, 25 feet
9913, squelch off, memories set for doppler.

First open pass last night 2:15utc- had good reception for about 8
minutes. I heard many fragments of callsigns and a few solid calls.
About 2 minutes of full quieting.

July 30 14:23utc pass, 22 degree max elevation out over atlantic. Some
noisy reception, heard k8zzu well. Just a couple of minutes of reception.

No contacts yet but very happy to hear echo on the air. Thanks all!
