I'm a FreeBSD user, all my changes for predict were done under FreeBSD
and will run just fine on linux as well.

I also simplified the KEP check code, so Ryan kb0jqo could run a predict
with ECHO KEPs. I could make a diff against the canonical orignal predict
source if people wanted that. My version, is atm, purely a code re-factoring.
