RE: TX: soundcard packet -- 9600 baud
Steve,
Unlike 1200 baud, 9600 baud is very picky about the drive level. A
deviation meter is handy, but if you have a scope, take a look at the TX
drive level. For 9600 baud, something like 3 Vpp will give you the desired
3 KHz deviation. That is higher than the manual says, but was blessed by
Yaesu tech support, and had worked fine for me for years. Other
possibilities, but a necessary condition for it to work.
