For Darrell's list and anyone who does not already know, the Kenwood TH-78A
will crossband full duplex.

You must set it in the duplex mode by setting the left VFO in VHF amateur
band and the right VFO in UHF amateur band then pressing the function key
for longer than 1 second and then the band button. An indicator will display
"DUP" when you are in full duplex mode. This is outlined in page 56 of the
Kenwood instruction manual.

Great radio to use for working Echo. if you use a 12 volt battery pack or
external 12 volt supply the HT will put out 5 watts on VHF and UHF. Great
sensitivity on UHF at 435mhz.
