Re: Handheld for Echo and FM Sats?



>From the reviews I've read on eham, it looks like the Icom W32A is a
great radio. I was also thinking about a used Yaesu FT-470 or 530. There
is a big cost difference to the TH-D7 when you add in the cables for the
GPS and PC.

I need to do more research into APRS and AO-51, to see if I would use
the data modes enough to justify the increased costs.
