Not as much as you would think. If you know the message, IIRC, you can 
"pretype" the message then send it later. It is like programing a cell 
phone. All of the numbers and letters are on the keys and it is just a 
matter of punching the button till you get the right letter or number. With 
a little practice, it can be con fairly fast.
