RSS ("Real Simple Syndication") is an XML representation of articles 
available on a news-like website. It allows quick reading of headlines 
and new content on a site with an RSS reader or browser plug-in, or 
allows a site to carry a condensed list of recent items on another 
related site. Many websites offer them now, and I use it all the time.
