I never actually heard the Mode A beacon, I just took a chance and sent
a signal up on 2 and voila...

I have a theory on this...I have heard twice a strong signal reset AO-7
from
B to A. I don't think you could generate enough signal to do the same on
A... I'm sure the combination of signals on FD could easily reset it
from B
to A....

Again, only a theory based on observations.
