Re: Heliax connectors



I thought I remembered an article about homebrewing them!  Too bad I cleaned
out all my old QST and QEX issues.  Check out the August,1987, QEX, page 4,
"Improved UHF-Type Connectors For Half Inch Heliax" by George Chaney, W5JTL.
If I remember he made them from plumbing fittings.  I believe he discussed
type "N" as well as other sizes of Heliax, but it has been a while.  If all
else fails I believe ARRL sells reprints.
